Why

Citizen International was founded by a group of young international professionals convinced that every single individual has something to contribute to advancing the greater good and should.  Lots of people just need to know how.  We aren't cause snobs, we recognize there are a lot of ways to help others and do good and we don't judge.

We focus our mission on:

People – because too many individuals believe their personal contribution in politics, economy and society is insignificant in comparison to larger, organized interest groups

Arts – because art has the power to challenge a perspective, invoke a passion or explain a complicated theory in a single photograph, film or drawing – and most people don’t have a lot of free time to read volumes on important issues

Innovation – because technology has made the world smaller virtually and enabled communication and understanding beyond borders through a common language.
