Citizen International is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that was founded in 2007 by an international group of young professionals seeking to develop innovative ways to promote and facilitate global civic engagement. Advances in technology, communications and travel make our generation more connected than any before, a priviledge that brings both oppotunity and responsibility. We seek to bring together individuals who measure their identity on more than nationality and who see their purpose as leaving this world better than they found it.
Citizen International has applied for 501(c)3 tax-exempt charity status from the U.S. Government and is awaiting a decision on status.
