Victoria McColmFounder and Executive Director

Victoria founded Citizen International in 2007 after working for six years with international non-profits in London, Bangkok, and Washington DC. She directs Citizen International part time and on a volunteer basis as she leads the organization through the start-up phase. Victoria is currently a Consultant for Flatter & Associates, Inc in Stafford, Virginia. Previously, she worked at the United States Institute of Peace, where she managed the Media and Conflict Program and coordinated Sudan projects. Prior to that she held positions with the International Rescue Committee, FORUM Asia and the International Bar Association.

Marianna Corvaglia
Project Coordinator

Marianna is a volunteer Project Coordinator to the Global Vote Project. In this capacity she oversees development of content for the site. Marianna is currently studying for her Master's in Italy.

Farzana HoqueProject Associate
Washington, DC
Farzana supports development of the Global Vote Project by drafting content and conducting research for the project. Farzana is the Manager of Membership and Special Projects at the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA). She has worked there for 2 years from when the non-profit trade association was in its start-up phase with only two other staff. Her functional areas include business development and non-profit administration. She has previous experience in accounting, human resources, and events planning. While she was a student, Farzana interned at the International Institute of Boston, British Parliament, and Hong Kong Productivity Council.Originally from Bangladesh, she grew up in Saudi Arabia and then studied in both the US and the UK. Farzana graduated from Tufts University in 2005 with a B.A. in International Relations and a concentration in Economic Development.
Haydn Thomas
International Outreach Coordinator

Haydn is coordinates International Outreach for Citizen International. In this volunteer leadership role, Haydn works to recruit individuals to help promote the Global Vote Project worldwide. Hadyn currently works as a Development Associates at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
